Secrets to Ebay GIA Diamond Lab Appraisal Reports

Oh the Internet...what a glameous place it is. Especially when we are looking for items below retail, below wholesale, below profit for anybody...yet we want it all. Appraisals, Certificates, Insurance promises you name it most sellers will promise you the moon the sky and the stars...unfortunately none will be able to deliver.

You see Diamonds and Gemstones are graded by different companies. Unfortunately due to tremendous effort the so called non profit GIA (that charges $250 per carat to report a diamond) is so well known by name alone that whatever their opinion is everyone considers this the Bentley of Appraisals.  Yet you want a diamond on ebay!!

How will I or any other seller show you that we have an appraisal of some sort and yet give you a good deal? First there are no miracles if you see the word GIA in an appraisal even in mine it simply means Independant GIA Lab report and done by someone licenced in that state to do it because they have gone through the GIA College. It does not mean they are GIA Corporate Headquarters in NYC or Antwerp grading your diamond..its just not realistic. However, most people just want something that says GIA on it for their friends to look at whatever....thats where Independant GIA Labs come in.

You see most ebayers dream away their clicking searching for that pristine diamond that is worth so much more than the seller paid for it!  Its not going to happen, you see the grading and marking behind GIA is not possible for any of us to meet. So we can give you a decent grading I call it "Internet Grading" often referred to as other kinds like FGL EGL FGA etc., just other places that are not so heavy on grading and so strict.

But alas when you run into your jeweler scared and worried that somehow the Ebay place sent you a fake diamond you worry and say hey look at this diamond how much is it worth? Well the local trinkit seller does not know if you really truly want to sell it to him, buy one like it, or whatever, he doesnt trust anyone either, but his dear family that so many ebayers after the sale tell me their local dear trusted family jeweler for years is providing them with his opinion.

Unfortunately the family confident loyal, trusted jeweler did not make a sale with you so he doesnt really know what to say...alas he will give you the strictest grading possible....thats right GIA!!!! Not that he is licenced, or trained but its easy for him to say oh no...oh no...look at this. Your head drops and you feel sick you feel you have been robbed.

Let me ask you, if you bought something locally can you return it a month later? Do you have hundreds of satisified customers listed to tell about his integrity, his delivery of his promises? No...but alas ebayers are very worried. So they pull out their appraisal from internet buying and see the replacement value at $15,0000.00 and he points out NO way is that the actual value.  Well guess what its NOT!!! Why, because replacement value just means if you went to Tiff-any or De-beers or someplace high end to replace the lost item you could easily spend that much to REPLACE the diamond....of course he knows that, you know that, but it still gives you a sick migrane.

So how and what should you expect for a grading on the internet....basically eye clean means Si and no yellow means H. Thats all. Nothing more, no investments, no big returns on your high end alleged investment. Lets be straight forward and honest all anyone including myself on ebay can really give you is a decent diamond at a decent price. They do not grow on trees and they certainly are not cheap to import between Taxes, Import Fees Insurance, etc., but alas ebayers think the diamond sellers are making a fortune.

I am not for certain. However if you appreciate KNOWING WHAT YOU GOT and appreciate this honest, straight forward true to life appraisal information vote below or better yet grab one of my diamonds and save yourself that forturne we have been talking about.  thanks for voting FreddyDiamonds
