I joined ebay to buy a boat. So far, I have bid on several with no luck. Each time I bid on one, I get a second chance offer from multiple so-called sellers. On the first one I bid on, I received four different second chance offers. Even though this particular boat was advertised as being in Dallas, the second chance offers came from England and Spain! Now, I was born at night, but not last night! I am, thank goodness, too smart to fall prey to some devious thief who has learned how to compromise the the ebay system. These second chance offers appear to be legitimate. In fact, at least three of them came through the ebay member message mailbox. This disturbs me greatly. I am now very hesitant to buy anything on ebay, and, if I do, I will likely not send one dime in payment until I view the boat and examine the titles. That said, ebay offers a great service. Too bad thieves have corrupted it. Good luck, and be careful!
