Being a 66 year old Senior with a 6.5 index with 40 years of playing golf, I have owned as many putters as Arnie.

I had to move one of my cars out of the garage-to the dismay of my wife-to provide more room for all my golf clubs, especially my putter collection from belly, tall sticks, heal and toe weighted, gimmicky putters etc etc.

I keep going back to my Scotty Camerons for the simple reason.  You get a putter that you can practice to get better, not get gimmicky compensations for flaws in your stroke to et better..  The "Star Ship" type putters tend to be a distraction on the backswing and detracts from other swing mechanics. 

Scotty Camerson has really assembled a putter that I think will be in my bag for a long time.  That putter is the new Limited Edition Newport 2, 34" putter.  Not only is it beautiful, but performs just as well.  Love the Terrylium insert missing in the newer non insert  putters that many Scotty Cameron Fans will miss.

The feedback is soft dead on the sweetspot and let's you know heel or toe hits, whether the putter came in square or had a slight hook or fade....oh yes, you can work the ball too.  Fast Downhill puts, no problem, a slight hit on the toe will keep the ball tracking and stop year the hole like it had chewing gum.  Short puts with an accelerated follow thru almost never misses from 3 feet in.    After getting a feel for the Cameron Limited 3 Button Newport 2, long putts were my biggest problem on speed, but this baby tracks with a topspin roll that always ends near or in the hole.  I Picked the Newport 2 because of the sight line that I align with the line on my balls.

It seems the putter only comes in 34" lengths, but I usually use a 35" and found the 34" not to be a problem.
