Scams, Fraud, Fakes , Genealogy records. You get plenty of this on the internet today. I am a seller and have received quite alot of them. You need to be on your toes everyone.

I DO GENEALOGY, Do you realize that your mom's maiden name is there , and what does most bank accounts and credit cards companies ask for?? mom's madien name, need to ask them to ask something else.The scammers also join ancestry to get that info!!!

 Put in your email contacts ( address book), I can't do liinks here. spoof @ ebay   .com & spoof@  paypal  .com, put .com after them. I had to make a separation

Use it when you get what you suspect a fake email. just click forward and send it. Don't answer the email.  ALWAYS ALWAYS make sure https:// on a sign in page to Ebay, Paypal, your Bank, look up top to the address bar, it should have the S on the end of http, if it does not close your page(browser) start over.

   ALWAYS MAKE SURE THE  S is added   before you put in your password.

Never Never deal with anyone who wants to deal with Western Union .Anyone who deals with ebay should download the Account Guard. When you are on Ebay or Paypal it will stay green, I was on a sign in page to ebay and the account guard dropped down across my page in RED and told me to get out of that page its fake. If I hadn't had that I would of been HAD. But when I go to sign in even if the account guard is green I always still look up top to make sure it stateshttps://  always always. I ALWAYS DO THIS FOR MY BANK  ALSO. You really need to be aware of everything or they will get you. Its ashame we have to go through this,

Another great web site for , fbi.gov ,I am not alowed to make a link, just put the W'S in front,, subscribe to them to get their email , I just got one about a new email scam  that just came out  claiming to be from the Central Bank of the Philippines

Where I used to work, I talked to this elderly woman and I asked her how did that woman (who was charging on her card) get your credit card number, she said honey she called me and told me she was from the credit card company  and that they were updating and needed for her to verify her number. bingo!

You business men and women who travel around to other states, please don't use your debit cards, this is money taken from your checking, your cash, go to the machine and pull out some cash to pay to eat, call the credit card company and tell them you want to verify purchases or don't let them go through.

I also dealt with this where I worked , turns out the man or lady who owned the card was on a business trip, and someone stole their number and started using their card number to place orders I caught many at my work calling in to place orders,

I have even called to UPS  fraud department to stop that package and bring it back to us.knowing this was a scam, I have even called the credit card compaines to stop all purchases on other people cards, the owners always thanks me, It saved them alot of headache and money.

What happens is someone steals your number and they call on the phone to place a order and request it to be shipped overnight, then they know just when the ups person  is coming. they meet them outside the building(say an apartment) and say I am expecting a package, they end up siging for it and be on their way.
so see it came to the credit card name and to the right address. so everything verified. I used to tell my girls let me see any overnight orders. I was determined that business was not going to lose money becasue of me. They used to laugh at me, none could get anything pass me. I checked everything.

 So don' forget the S on the end  http in the address bar.

Don't fall  for or answer any offers for big money, anytime you are asked for money , its fake,

Never use your debit card on any trips, or at least tell the co. you want to verify all purchases, just for that trip, don't give any info on the phone or do surverys,

 Stop at a machine and get money out to eat with

I do believe most people are honest, but there are a few who are not  and they can do alot of damage, be careful be on your toes
