Don't be fooled by low priced magazine subscriptions and memory cards. Yes, there are some sellers out there that are legit and do give you great service. Unfortunately, the bad ones outweigh the good ones.

What to do when you buy a magazine script and it doesn't arrive. First, you need to check out the sellers' rep before buying, which doesn't always help, but it's a start, most all of them say 8-12 weeks for delivery-Well, every one that I have purchased and actually arrived, was here by the 8th week mark. Bad thing is, by the time the 12 weeks is up, so is your time limit to file a claim. Paypal won't do anything about mag subs anyway. You can file a complaint with them that will go through and hopefully viewed by the seller, but you can't actually open a dispute as with other items. When you file a complaint with ebay after that 12 week mark, they will simply send you an email saying they are sorry, but basically can't to anything about it. They also encourage you to file complaints against the seller for internet and mail fraud. This is by far the best thing to do if your seller has been removed from ebay or refuses to respond. I too have been a victim of such and the worthless seller contacted me with a different email address after they were removed and wanted to know why I filed a complaint and stated she would refund after a certain date. Wrong-she lied and still hasn't. Therefore, when this happens, go to www.usps.com/postalinspectors/fraud/MailFraudComplaint.htm to report them for mail fraud and www.fraud.org for internet fraud. The more complaints they get on an individual, hopefully they will do something about it. Feel free to look up other fraud complaint websites as well, the more, the better.

Now on to fake memory cards. If it doesn't have a serial number, chances are, it's a faker. I actually had a guy send me one in a knock off of the name brand packaging, Good thing was, I have already purchased a small Mb card from aan actual retailer, so I knew when it arrived it was not real. The color was different, the trademark "r" in a circle wasn't present, the lettering was different and no serial numbers were present. When I placed in my camera, it only held about 70 more pics than a 128 mg card and this one supposed to be 2gb. Get real. I have since purchased a real one that holds well over a thousand more pics than the 128mb, that's how it's supposed to be. I had purchased one before that claimed to be 2gb as well and it was of course a faker too. No serial numbers and it wouldn't even read. Chances are when a seller has an overly large
amount of one particular memory card, it's generally fake. Use your own judgement, no seller will ever admit to you that it's a fake copy. Look at the ones in the store before you buy, or by a much cheaper, smaller Mb one in the same brand so you know what to look for. Pay very close attention to minor details such as color, print, trademark symbols, and serial numbers. Please see pics of Kingston memory cards. The 2gb is teh fake one I recvd, the 128mg is the real purchased from a legit seller .Look at all the small differences.
