There is a new tactic that I just saw a scammer using. He is selling a Bobcat 863 TurboDiesel skid steer, a 1999 model with low hours for the buy it now price of $6000! This is easily worth twice that as we all know.
The scammer has a new tactic: The entire auction page format has been spoofed so any attempt to click on anything on the page, including the Bid button, Report Auction button, History button, or any part of the page that is not a part of your browser, sends an instant email to the seller.
You can detect this if you mouse over the page, it will show at the bottom of your browser what the redirect will be. When you check the properties of the page it is a .gimp image. The crook has overlaid the entire eBay listing page with a link that automatically contacts him when you click anywhere on the page. He blew the picture up to 1400 x 8000 pixels (Pretty much your entire screen!) to do this.
BEWARE! This guy is a scammer! He is using gallagher.771 as his account right now which is a zero FB user account, that is a month old.
Remember: If it is too good to be true than it IS too good to be true.
