hi there ebayers
here are some tips i hope you find usefull.
one way i have saved hundreds of dollars on ebay fees is by NOT using ebay for its picture services. i do use the one free picture ebay provides but that is it. for extra photos use photobucket. (just do a google search for photobucket) it is totally free and thet give you tonnes of storage and traffic allowance. i have never even come close to my limit.
utilize ebay listing promotions. read the promos thoroughly and take advantage of them if you can. dont be afraid to list in the formats that they promote if you are not used to them. especially focus on your expensive listings or items. if you have expensive items in your ebay store see if you can send them to an auction format (promo permitting) and you will get the best bang for your buck by focusing on your expensive items first.
i have sold over 10000 items. i never use bold or listing designer or pretty much any other upgrade. (i ocassionally use the subtitle and that is it). if you have a saleable item then just make a catchy title to get attention and hopefully the item will sell itself.
relist for less. if your item does not sell first time round, relist it for less. if it sells this time around you will be credited your insertion fee.
ebay now has the 5 star rating system. you can get a discount on your final value fees up to 20%. here is how... describe your items accurately, make sure you have very good and polite communications with your buyers, make sure you process orders very fast and get your buyers thier items as fast as you can and make sure your shipping and handling charges are reasonable. you can see how you are doing by checking out your seller dashboard from your my ebay link.
i hope you found this info usefull. if so please click on the YES below. this will motivate me to share more ebay ideas with you!!!
thanks, mike
