This Guide is for those who are collectors and those who just like Russian Nesting Dolls.  I will try to give some examples of the different types of Nesting Dolls from Museum quality to just junk.

The quality of the Matrioshka varies greatly.  We try to import from Russia nesting dolls that will fit ever ones budget. Dolls can range from a few dollars to many thousands.

Russian Nesting Dolls Categories:

• Museum Quality is for the most part a one of a kind.  The most sought after by collectors.  Most if not all of these doll are signed by the Artist.  You will find most of these Artist in the Matrioshka Art Books or at the Doll Museum in Moscow. 
• Limited Production Nesting Dolls also of good quality art and design
• Basic Art Matrioshka is the most common of the nesting dolls.  You can fine them in the folklore, fairy tale and floral motifs.
• Market Matrioshka is the lowest of quality and has little or nothing to do with Russian Culture.
