I discovered a great way to hide speaker wires. I have a bi-amped 7.2 channel surround sound system; so if you do the math, that 7 X 2 + 2 or 16 speaker wires that I needed to run. I was perusing through my local home improvement center when I can across the area where they sell lattice. The PVC plastic version has available separately, 8 foot long end covers that are “U” shaped channel to accept the lattice. Its one inch tall, and perfect for holding up to three pairs of 14 gage wire. If you need more than three runs, like I do, they also have a “H” shaped version (two “U” shape back to back). The color selection isn’t great, but they do have white, cream, a light brown, and I think that you can order custom colors. You could also paint it to match your trim. It’s about $6.00 per 8 foot length.
