There are hundreds of items being sold on ebay, advertised as Royal Satsuma. For the record, authentic Satsuma marks never have the word Satsuma spelled out in English. The items marked this way are new Chinese imports or Arnart from the 1970s. Below are marks you will find on these 'non-authentic' items.

Please note that the import companies who are currently selling these items identify them for what they are: New Chinese. Please also note that many items come to this country with a MADE IN CHINA sticker, which is easily removed. Many of these items also come with attached wooden stands.
