One of the best ways to recognize fake Roseville pieces, aside from their generally crude construction is to find the Roseville name on the earlier Roseville pieces which NEVER are signed.  Some lines are signed in their later pieces and unsigned in their early ones.  Among the lines which are NEVER signed are sunflower, earlam, montacello, topeo, Artcraft, wisteria, baneda, blackberry, cremona, falline, ferella, futura, jonquil, laurel, luffa, morning glory, and dahlrose, as well as others.
