BUYERS BEWARE!!!!!!! If it seems too good to be true, then it just might be. I was looking on eBay for a birthday present for my husband. We found a bow that made him happy and pursued it further. The guy that we responded to said that you could buy a Mathews Switchback bow before the auction ended for $500 without shipping charges. We thought this was perfect! Come to find out he had Pay Pal on the listing for payment (even better). When I contacted him to make the transaction he told me that he only excepted Western Union wire transmissions. Okay, we decided to do it anyway. Well this was where it started going south. He had on the listing that the item was from Muskegon, Michigan but when he sent me a spoof email invoice from eBay (which this has been confirmed by eBay) it listed that the payment should be sent to Romania. Each and every person that shops on eBay wants to believe in their sellers, but that isn't always something that can be done. I am so relieved that we were able to call the people at Western Union and stop the payment before he had accepted it. DO NOT BELIEVE THE BUYERS PROTECTION INVOICE THAT HE SENDS YOU!!! THE INFORMATION IS FALSE! PROTECT YOURSELF.
