Roland V-Drum scammers are very active on Ebay. They target Roland V-Drums because of the excessively high prices that Roland V-Drums sell for (I'd suggest you consider the Roland-licensed drum pads made by Pintech for a wallet-pleasing alternative). You see the ridiculously low prices they start their auctions at, and the tantalizing pictures of V-Drum sets THAT THEY DON'T OWN and you get lured into their trap!
Identifying a fraudulent V-drum auction is very easy. I'm about to save you thousands of dollars: If an auction asks you to not bid, but to instead contact a person through email instead of through the Ebay message system, the auction is a SCAM - 100% of the time ! ! ! No legitimate Ebayer would circumvent Ebay's message system, which was put there for your safety as the buyer ! !
Folks, think about it. Why are they asking you to contact them directly through email? SO THEY CAN SCAM YOU, AND THEN YOU'LL HAVE NO RECOURSE (you can't leave negative feedback, you can't get Ebay or Paypal to go after them to get your money back, etc.).
No need to elaborate further. If the seller asks you to contact them directly via email, click "report this listing" and report them. If everyone is diligent to do this, eventually these scammers will learn that Roland V-Drum scams DON'T WORK!
