.I purchased 2 Roketa DB-05's. The instructions are in Chingish, but that's nothing new and not unique to Roketa's products. The bikes assembled relatively easy. I took one out for a, "shake-down" ride through the mountains and back roads in Southern California. We rode on pavement, dirt fire roads, 4X4 roads, and motorcycle trails. The bike never failed, some of the riding was a bit technical and it handled the challenge. The other rider was on a Yamaha (220cc). I had no trouble keeping up with the other bike on and off road.
The speeds varied from 55 mph to a crawl. This bike is NOT a 70 mph freeway cruiser, but it will do 55 on the back roads. The gearing is more than adequate for off road riding and the engine has enough torque to get you up the hill. For the casual weekend rider, or for a first time rider, this is an excellent motorcycle, especially, considering the price.
This bike is a basic $1,100 vehicle, try to buy anything in this price range. If this motorcycle lasts only a couple years, it has paid for itself. My suggestions for anyone considering these bikes would be to order a few extra parts along with the bike, such as brake and clutch levers and substituting fold-a-way mirrors for off-road riding, the same recommendation applies to all dual-purpose bikes.
