Rocket Launch Sets

Generally Launch Sets include everything you need to launch included a launch pad system and controller, plus an E2X (some assembly) or a Ready To Fly rocket (no assembly). You also recieve the National Association of Rocketry safety code instructions and building instructions.  They do not include ignitors, engines and recovery wadding.

• E2X Launch Set: Rocket parts pre-colored with no painting and some assembly.

• Ready to Fly Launch Set:  Rocket is already assembled and decorated.

Summary

Generally if you want to start the hobby, purchasing a launch set would be a good start.  You get to pick your engine type and you just about have everything you need except as noted.
