The Skid Steer Rock Bucket is the Industry Leader when it comes to sorting rocks and other debris from soil or gravel. Ever since the skid steer was first introduced by Bobcat, attachments for every job under the sun have been produced, with the rock bucket being one of the most popular. There are many different designs, with various widths and tine spacing. Some buckets offered have closed backs and sides, others have tines, rods or cutouts, to allow fine material to fall from all sides. From my experience, a bucket with closed sides and backs is more efficient at keeping dust and debris off of the operator.
Versatility can be increased by adding Grapple Tongs to the Rock Bucket. Rock Buckets with grapple tongs installed are capable of picking up and firmly holding loads of stumps, logs, brush and other debris.
If you have hard-packed earth in your part of the country, adding teeth to your rock bucket or rock bucket grapple may be an option you would consider. The teeth make it possible to dig and break up hard earth.
