When purchasing an aftermarket Rimage printer ribbons you need to purchase a ribbon that will print on all brands of media.  Some manufacturers simply roll there barcode label ribbon onto a Rimage type spool without testing a reformulating the ribbon for on disc printing.   Some ribbons will print on TY media but not on Prodisc, Princo or Verbatim.   You also need to purchase from a company that will stand behind thier product in case a problem arrises.

NOTE,  aftermarket Rimage Everest ribbons will be released spring of 2007.
