Hello Fellow EBayerEBayer!! I have read many of the reviews regarding Retaliatory Feedback and many others that were similar! One stuck out in my mind so much I just have to compose a review of my own on the subject. The one in particular I read stated Sellers should be ashamed to contact their buyers for feedback when they don't automatically leave feedback when the Buyer pays for the item instantly! In a perfect world Sellers should leave feedback when the Buyer pays to their satisfaction BUT this isn't a perfect world and there are many Buyers AND Sellers out there just looking for ways to manipulate the system! If Sellers automatically left feedback upon satisfactory feedback it leaves them defenseless against unreasonable demands and unfair Negative marks. I personally am delighted to automatically leave feedback upon payment for one when the buyer pays for more than one item! If they purchase a single item, I wait and leave feedback once I am made aware they are happy with my products either through contacting the buyer weeks later or through receiving positive feedback from them. As a Buyer, I leave feedback when I receive the item and it meets my inspection! I suggest you the reader to be the same way! A main issue that should be addressed here is that EBAY really needs to develop a Feedback arbitration system involving fellow ebayers (The Jury) that hears both sides and reviews the facts and makes a decision on whether a Negative Feedback is justified and come up with guidelines adEBayersEBayers when a Negative Feedback is warranted. Does a Seller deserve a Negative just because the Item was received Broken? Does a Buyer deserve a Negative for paying in 7 days when the listing states Payment due in 3 days? I am a Buyer and a Seller and have given Nefeedbacksfeedbacks when I feel it is justified but mostly in the case of a non-paying bidder or for receiving items not correctly listed and the seller refused to correct the situation! I'm Open to hear what your thoughts are!!
THANK YOU!
