When buying used restaurant equipment on the internet, be aware that there are folks who portray themselves as dealers yet work out of their garage.  In some of the ads it's not difficult to figure this out, you can clearly see their garage or pool in the background. 

There are also some dealers who do not welcome local pickup or preview.  Now, one should question this- why are you charging me a fee for local pickup of an item?  Why would you not welcome clients into your store?
