Many people ask me if certain rings can be resized. 

Rings that are plated-gold and/or silver plated usually CANNOT be resized.

 Many 10KT,14KT,etc...Gold and .925 Sterling Silver Rings may be re-sized. Re-sizing should be done by a professional jeweler. Most jewelers recommended that rings can be re-sized no more than two sizes either way, but not all rings in this classification can be resized-but sometimes it does depend on the design of the band and/or the thickness of the band. So keep these things in mind when bidding.
