Let's say I want to buy a book about sculpting.

First, I search 'sculpting' on eBay. I can find the best bargains there.
Once I see a title that interests me, I switch to the Amazon search.

This allows me to see a better description of the book, along with reviews from buyers.
Add it to your Wish List to see a list of similar items.
If no bargains are available, I buy the book from Amazon and enjoy the free shipping.

For items that are scarce on eBay or Amazon, the next step is a search on google.

By having search boxes for all 3 of those sites on my homepage,
I am ready for anything, whenever I launch a new browser:
