On the ceiling will be a round metal or plastic plate holding the old light to the box in the ceiling. There will be two screws holding the plate on,remove them and the light will come down attached to the wires. There will be a black wire and a white wire along with a single copper wire. All are attached with wire nuts to the corresponding colors. Remove the wire nuts one at a time as so to NOT touch them together.Take the new light and install in the reverse order of taking them down. You should be able to use the existing electrical box in the ceiling for your new light.Follow instructions in box and you have a new light fixture. Have fun!!
