One little known secret  to removing  a stain from a beaver pelt hat,  is to brush a small amount of cat litter on the stain. The cat litter many times will neutralize the stain,  &  remove it almost immediately. As odd as it sounds I've seen it done. Now if we could only make the cat disappear as easily. lol
