First of all, just let me say this...IF you have or get a cold sore Please do NOT Share it with your loved ones or others by kissing as they can get one this way from you. They are contagious.

OK. Walmart by far has the best price for this remedy but you could also buy it on ebay I suppose but I am the discreet type and would not want that to show on my feedback so if you do buy from someone on ebay ask them to make the listing private or not leave feedback for you that way it won't show and you can save yourself from being embarrassed that way...just a hint.

Anyway. Go to your favorite drugstore, Walmart or ebay does not matter and look for L-Lysine in 500 to 1,000 mg tablets...the oval oblong shaped ones are much easier to swallow. We swallow ours with a soda or something bubbly as they are big supplements.

Country Life brand makes a huge bottle of 1000 mg L-Lysine Amino Acid Supplement with B-6 100 tablets to the bottle. You only need to take 1000 mg a day. So if you have to buy the 500mg bottle you will need to take 2 pills a day Each and every single day and you will not be bothered with cold sores or they won't be that bad and certainly will not last that long as long as you take the 1,000 mg a day amount.

I always get the L-Arginine,L-Ornithine, and L-Lysine triple combination formula from Puritan's Pride brand which you also can find on ebay sometimes.....

These are Important Amino Acids for Protein Formation. And they help with break outs and skin issues too.

The Country Life Brand with the B-6 aids in utilization of the Lysine.

I like them both and usually paid somewhere between $9.99 and $13.99 for a bottle of the sizes mentioned above.

This works and it also helps to use the Desert Essence Brand LIP RESCUE with Shea Butter lip balm that comes in a chapstick type tube...keeps your lips moist and not dried out and shea butter is very healing for skin issues too so it is wonderful for your lips...Just remember do NOT share your lips or chapsticks while you have cold sore issues as they can easily be spread from one person to another.

We did try all the remedies out there until our good friend who is a Naturopath told us to try this remedy and it works. This is a vitamin supplement you are looking for in your favorite store or on ebay. It is not a medicine. But it helps with the cold sore and fever blister issue.

Just wanted to share our find with those looking for a fast surefire remedy to their cold sore issues.
