When purchasing refurbished phones. Its not only a good deal, but also a way of recycling. When making a refurbished phone purchase try to stay away from older models. Check to see how long that particular model has been out in the market. Like us, phones have a life span, and can only be refurbished so many times.
Refurbished does not only mean to change all the cosmetics to make it look net, but to repair any issues that have been diagnosed on the phone. So make sure you read the item description to its entirety, and do not be afraid to ask questions.
Make sure to find out about the company you are purchasing refurbished phones from. How long they have been in business? Are they the manufacture that actually refurbished the unit? Or are they just resellers of the refurbished market? Also, ask about warranty. Do they personally cover the unit in XX amount of days? Because there are so many grades of refurbished phones. Make sure to ask what grade it is. Grade A,B, or C.
Refurbished units are actually just as good as new phones, so don't rule it out completely. Just do your research before making the purchase, and you should be okay.
