Reebok Ice Cream Collection- Pharrell & Nigo Ice Cream
Reebok's Ice Cream Collection of sneakers is a result of a collaboration between Reebok, producer Pharrell Williams, and designer Nigo, who is best known for his clothing line called A Bathing Ape. Pharrell Williams's vocals have appeared on Snoop Dogg and Jay-Z tracks.
Williams is most famous for producing hip-hop, rap, pop, R&B, and rock music as part of the production team called The Neptunes. Hits have included songs by Britney Spears, Snoop Dogg, Nelly, Busta Rhymes, Mystikal, NSYNC, Mariah Carey, Janet Jackson, Justin Timberlake, and other well-known musicians. Williams is also a member of the band N.E.R.D. along with is partner Chad Hugo. In 2005, he released his first solo album, featuring guest vocals by the likes of Gwen Stefani and Daddy Yankee.
Williams is also known for his sense of fashion and was voted "Best Dressed Man in the World" by Esquire Magazine in 2005. His Ice Cream line of shoes is designed for those who love the look of unique sneakers. Each pair comes in a special collectible box that actually looks like an ice cream carton. Available in a variety of color combinations such as yellow, navy and blue; white, black and red; and black, red and blue, the shoes feature eye-catching patterns. Examples include green money rolls, diamonds and money signs, beepers, and dice.
Ice Cream Collection shoes were not sold at all Reebok outlets and traditional athletic footwear stores, but were only available at specialty sneaker boutiques. The fact that the shoes were manufactured in limited editions makes them appeal greatly to sneaker collectors around the world.
