When buying...

1.  ...always know you can pay for that item.  Don't say, "I will pay a week later."  Keep it safe: pay immediately or as soon as possible, just like those auctions where "payment immediately" occurs.

2.  ...be understandable and courteous, even when seller says, "We're out of stock, so it may take a while.  Just be greatful they said that up front, so you don't have to ask that question weeks later, "Where's my item?"  This usually results in positive reputations, and the words, "Great Communicator, friendly, nice" for feedback.

3.  ...Do exactly what the auction says.  If auction calls for verified address via paypal, make sure your address comes up on the paypal page.  Some don't want credit cards, but bank accounts.  Others do not want paypal at all, so read carefully and do as seller wants. "Payment immediately" "Pickup only" "Payment within a week" "refunding policy"  You get the point.

4. (What I've had to do sometimes)   ...receiving a package in thats got holes and find out missing pieces, or find out broken, and you've been ignored when asking many questions, it is best not to leave feedback at all, just live on and forgive them for their errogency. 

When selling... 

1.  ...always go up and beyond when packaging to keep item safe from handling complaints.  Package neatly and don't use old rags, clothes to keep item in place.  Use safe boxes, not just bubblewrap and tape. (no kidding, I know of someone who sends with no box at all!) 

2. ...sent off package immediately upon receiving payment.  Never wait longer than need be. 

3. ...Ship smartly.  When not specific on what your shipping out on, this leaves room for seller to go anyway with shipping, which I do.  Say, if bid winner is within 200 miles, send it out under the snail mail, whether USPS Media or Parcel.  If more miles than 1,000, go the way of Priority, so it don't take a month.

4. ...do not undermeasure or underweigh box, for complications sake.  They will know if you are telling the truth when doing your own shipping labels.  All carriers have scales down to the ounces. (I USE A FOOTSCALE, BUT ALWAYS ADD A COUPLE POUNDS JUST TO BE SURE)  Last thing you need is a "return false statement lb. oz. "

5. ...offer refunds to buyer if claims not working or missing parts OR allow him to return product to you at his expense, if auction says that. 

6. ...include more product (for me, its if I find more related magazines after already putting auction up)  They appreciate beyond what they expected.

7. ...Truthfulness with no corner sliding is needed.  What do I mean?  If auction says, "most in great condition" than product needs to be in near excellent condition.  Description is key.

When on ebay...

1. ...answer all questions asked concerning your auction page.

2. ...ask questions to solve any detail needed.

3. ...check your email as well if selling.

4. ...Sip on lemonade while wishing you had watched in your watched list more closely:>
