There are many "How-to" eBooks on eBay. You may be wanting to either write an eBook or buy an eBook. Here are some simple guidelines for both. Keep in mind that there are many get-rich-quick type eBooks out there. Sometimes, it just takes hard work to make a good living:
1. Write an eBook: To write an eBook, you must have a experience in a given market, whether it may be how to build a business from a craft, manual labor or some other experience that has helped you build your business. You may write an eBook on how to gain accounts in housekeeping or how to start a janitorial business. Some people relish the idea of being their own boss and make a decent realistic living. This helps in selling your eBook.
Some people may not know how to do certain things like obtain general liability insurance for a given industry, or how to keep up with expenses for tax purposes. To sell your eBook for starting a business, you must take someone from start to finish, beginning a business to obtaining customers or sales. This will help guide your buyers to start the business and also let them know that your experience will help them obtain a good start and prevent them from making mistakes that you may have encountered.
Promote your eBook accordingly. Don't put in a lot of hype about how they will get rich and how all of their dreams will come true. Be realistic in your promotions and give good facts on what the buyer of your eBook may expect.
Your eBook doesn't have to be 300 pages long. Remember, quality content is very important to getting someone started in a business. You may not be there to hold their hand when they start their business, but you must provide them with enough tools to get them to gain confidence in going forward.
2. Buy an eBook: Be careful in buying eBooks. Many times, lists and other items are passed around so much that you may buy the same two eBooks that are named and promoted as two completely different eBooks. With the vast amount of information passed around the internet, many eBooks are just compilations of several websites.
If you buy an eBook, don't just look at the feedback score of the seller. Look at the content of the specific comments. Do a search of the subject that peaks your interest and see how many sellers are selling similiar eBooks. This may give you an indication of validity of information that the sellers are offering.
