Alot of times when someone is looking for an item and find what they're looking for, they will get excited & go ahead and bid BEFORE reading the actual description, BEFORE knowing exactly what the shipping charges are, and not be happy when they win. There are some auctions that are scams (if it sounds too good to be true BEWARE DO NOT BID OR BUY!). ALWAYS ask questions when in doubt. Be sure of the types of payments the seller accepts, for example if you want to send a money order or check, the seller may ONLY accept paypal or if you are going to use pay-pal some sellers do not accept paypal payments. So be sure to read the entire auction including the item description, shipping instructions and anything else that may be informative. If no shipping instructions or amounts are given, ASK QUESTIONS FIRST, unless you are willing to suffer the possible consequinces. It is up to the buyer to read the entire auction, be sure of the item & any costs involved and by bidding on an item you are agreeing to the terms of the auction (whether you read it or not). Once you bid and win an auction, you are legally obligated to purchase the item. It costs sellers time and money to list items only to be not paid for because the buyer "didn't know". Look at the picture for any possible damage, repairs, etc., if none are visible in the pictures and none are described you may still want to ASK first, NEVER assume anything. I personally have won auctions that said "no damage visible" only to get an item that is cracked and/or broken or other damage that WAS VERY visible and not done in shipping. The old rule of thumb applies: Buyer beware.
