Alright, this sounds weird, but trust me, I have been doing for 14 years.

After you shave, as soon as you get out of the tub/shower: Apply "White-Cake" style deoderant to the entire area that has been shaven. Think about it, how often do you get razor rash on your armpits? Hardley ever, right? It's because of the ingredients in the deoderant. As far as safety goes, if you can use it on your pits, whats the difference?

My personal favorite is Arrid XX dry. Blue container. Any scent. It's that thick white stuff that leaves a residue on our shirts (yup thats the stuff!). Anything made of that thick white stuff is the "cake" style I am referring to.

This tip was taken from ladies that run around in bikinis for a living. Don't ask me how I know ;)
