Some sellers sell Rapidshare accounts on ebay.

Those accounts even if they are sold to you by another person, they will NEVER EVER belong to you.

The only way to legally aquire a rapidshare account is to buy from rapidshare website.

The possibility to get scammed is 99% as you can buy the account on ebay, you will pay the seller lets say for a 12 month account half the normal price (price is 55 Euros on rapidshare website) and here you can find it around 30 Euros.

What the seller does is buying the account from Rapidshare website for 55 Euros and lists it on ebay. The victim buys the account for 30 and receives the username and password and changes it. A few months later the seller asks rapidshare for an account recovery claiming that YOU stole his account. You are NOT the owner of that account. ONLY the seller is the owner. Ownership is not transfered.

Rapidshare keeps track of the IPs who have used the account and you will end up having no access to the account. After that, the seller will re-sell the account to another victim and so on.

Of course rapidshare offers sometimes free accounts if users collect premium points. Those points are exchanged with a free month account. New payed accounts always receive 8000 points for free. So this is a sign that the seller has payed for the account which he is trying to sell you.

So, my friends be very careful as I have bought a rapidshare account a couple of days ago and rapidshare told me that it does NOT belong to me.
