I have sensitive skin and I am also picky about the temperature of air I breathe. A roommate I was living with has a Rainmate and what I love about the product is that even though it deodorizes the room, it is also a natural humidifier. If there is too much humidity in the air it works to take out some of the extra moisture, and if the air is too dry it adds moisture. It is technologically advanced enough to keep the room at the right amount of humidity that is recommended for people. Another added benefit is that you can put extract from plants, fruits, or whatever into the product and it will give off the scent, you do not even have to buy the fragrances, just use things from your own home; and the best part is it will not ruin the Rainmate;as long as you only put in the extract not the entire plant or fruit! My two year old niece had a severe cold with a sinus infection, we placed the Rainmate next to her bed and put a couple of drops of the eucalyptus in the water and it helped clear her sinuses in two days! Also, if you have a snoring spouse, the eucalyptus works wonders for that too! The testing that has gone into the product is amazing. Since I have sensitive skin I have to be careful with what is in the air I am in, the Rainbow is a wonderful product, and the Rainmate is perfect for the smaller needs like purifying and humidifying just one room or taking with me when I travel; hotel rooms can sometimes be atrocious and with family in various parts of the US the humidity changes from one relatives house to the other. Also, being a light sleeper I am glad there is very little noise from the Rainmate, it makes about as much noise as a water fountain or even a soft rain outside.
