Ill just say this. More dietz vesta were used on rails than any other lantern. The Vesta's were all "Tubular" Lanterns. Call them what you want, but they are "cold blast" for brighter flame, and they have tubes!  I just read a nice guide that explains the listings of almost anything as a RR Lantern, and I agree its so out of control, but to say no railroad Lanterns had Tubes is just wrong. Dietz made "Tubular" driving lanterns that were cold blast and had concealed "tubes" or air intakes as well. I know Adlake's didn't have tubes, and some others, but dont skip the most popular Lantern ever made for the RR industry
