Rage is a collective card game based upon White Wolf's Werewolf: the Apocalypse from the World of Darkness role-playing series.
Published from 1995 to 1996, the following sets include:
- Rage Unlimited/Limited
- The Umbra
- The Wyrm
- The War of the Amazon
- The Leagcy of the Tribes
Five Rings Publishing Group managed to get the rights to publish a new Rage card game in 1998 that cannot be played with the original White Wolf cards. It was also discounted by 1999. It was titled Rage Across Las Vegas, the following sets were:
- Phase 1, Get of Fenris vs. Wendigo
- Phase 2, Bone Gnawers vs. Red Talons
- Phase 3, Shadow Lords vs. Slient Striders
- Phase 4, Philodox vs. Galliard
- Phase 5, Black Furies vs. Children of Gaia
- Phase 6, Uktena vs. Iron Riders
- Equinox, Silver Fangs vs. Fianna vs. Glass Walkers vs. Stargazers vs. Ragabash vs. Theurge vs. Ahroun
The cards with the most rarity are foils from all the sets, the promotional cards, Equinox, War of the Amazon, and Legacy of the Tribes. War of the Amazon fetching the highest prices. Other things to look for are the books: WW 3906 Savage Attack: A Player's Guide to Rage, WW 3930 With Fang and Claw: The Rage Strategy Guide, WW 3403 Rage: Warriors of the Apocalypse. A baseball cap, a pink case with the word 'Rage' on it, autographed cards by the artists, art prints, art originals, uncut press runs, cards with oddities, Garou Nation newsletters, magazines promoting Rage, etc. And if you were really into it, getting into and collecting the Werewolf: the Apocalypse books.
You can play the original cards online at CCG Workshop. And download new cards from the website River Von. If you can, check out and talk to other Rage fans over at the yahoo group, Rage Info.
