WELL-

I am going to give you the recipe i have used for years-It works great for me but does take a few days to really get things rusty-This is much safer then acid, and better then tossing things out in the rain.

This will be for 1000 safety pins-,bells whatever you want

incredients in a glass bowl-

Make sure the bowl is a craft bowl not one you care about-Its going to have stain residue and is only good for crafts after this.

• ADD ONE whole bottle peroxide-nice and fresh kind-(add more if needed play with recipe)
• ADD ONE cup white vinegar not apple cider just white
• ADD tablespoon salt
• STir is up and do this outside ,it will start to bubble and cause mild fumes-
• DUMP in you pins and stir to activate-Set outside or anywhere you want with proper air flow.
• Stir once in a while-Leave in solution at least two days-IT WILL seem like nothing is going on-

DUmp out on cookie sheet in the sun-Drained of course-CAN be wet-Gives it alittle extra boost-

I leave mine on an old rusty cookie tray outside for day or in the garage-They just rust away and continue to rust the longer you leave them out-

Them i just store them away-

THIS IS MESSY AND IT STAINS CLOTHES, CARPETS -LET THE PINS, BELLS, WIRE DRY AND CRAFT AWAY.

OH NEVER USE BRASS ITEMS ONLY CHEAP STUFF OR THEY WILL NOT RUST
