It is no secret Rupp products and all vintage minibikes are very collectable. It is also no secret that parts are in demand for the minibikes, snowmobiles, karts, Go-Joes and all the other Rupp models built. When spending your hard earned dollars for parts, remember ask questions, ask for clear pictures(especially if auction has poor out of focus, poor lighted pictures) and be specific. Don't let alot of jiberish or some fancy "used car salesman's lingo" get you confused on what is really being offered for sale. If your reply is vague, sounds too good to be true, or you know it is a flat out lie.....there is a good chance you may not be getting what you think your purchasing. By making this a practice of yours, you will be able to weed through all the auctions for parts that are not Rupp parts but have the word Rupp in their titles. Remember ebay has all kinds of users and sellers. Many ebay users do not go out in public and make appearances at events. Not all hide behind a computer terminal. Just because a seller may not do public events, doesn't mean he is reputable or mean he is a crook.

With the current ebay rules on keyword spam, it is now allowable for sellers to use the word "fits" in their titles. Remember the word "fits" doesn't mean you are looking at a GENIUNE part that is correct for your Rupp or a part that will fit your Rupp without MAJOR labor and expense to be able use your just purchased items. Many different tactics are used to lure you to auctions. Remember our products are NOT reboxed just bought ebay items, then listed and called Rupp.

We all are looking for a bargain, but we have to remember there is nothing in this world for free. You must consider the selling price of items as compared to ebay sellers fees. How can you expect quality when an item has not much value in pricing? Chances are it is 3rd world manufactured low quality that will give performance, life, and fit FAR less than you'd expect. A perfect example, bearings....how can anyone expect quality if you are buying repackaged ebay items that originally cost $77.00 for a quantity of 100? Thats 77 cents a bearing. How can you get any form of quality for 77 cents?

Another thing to be cautious of is feedback ratings. Feedback ratings NO longer have the meaning that they were originally designed for. Many sellers now use tactics to keep buyers from leaving poor feedback. Many sellers will not give feedback until a buyer does, this allows them another way out of a poor feedback by threatening to give a buyer poor feedback unless the buyer agrees to retract their posted feedback. Our way of thinking is.....give feedback upon recieving payment beings a buyer has done his/her part to fullfill the transaction. We can give feedback upon recieving payment because we do not play the game of deception and never mislead anyone with our factual and correct descriptions and fitment of our products.

Here at Rupp Parts, we want to help you in any way possible. We would rather tell you the truth than mislead you with false auctions, improper claims about our products, poor pics etc. We haven't made 1 or more new ebay selling IDs to hide our bad feedback(quite a common occurance with sellers on ebay to play that game). We do public events and are always happy to meet all of our current and past customers. We have made some GREAT friends through the years and can't wait to make more.

Take a peek at our store. We stock TONS of REAL Rupp parts, tons of vintage minibike parts (including Bonanza, Fox, Speedway, MTD, Arctic Cat, Herters, and others) and TONS of quality replacements. Remember quality is what makes the great finished product. You don't want to have to constantly adjust, rework, tune, alter your completed product because you bought "low" quality cheapy 3rd world country ebay parts for your project, just because the ad had lots of hipe and a rediculously low price. We don't deal in JUNK and won't sell JUNK. Junk belongs in the trash and that is where we put it. If there is something your in need of and don't see it in our store....PLEASE feel free to contact us so we can get those item(s) in the works for you.

We do everything in our power to keep American dollars in America! Our replications are all AMERICAN made. Rupp was considered as 1 of the best......why is that?...they didn't use poor quality 3rd world country parts.....keep your American minibike quality....avoid the cheapy 3rd world junk if at all possible...and support America...buy American!

REMEMBER TO:

1. Ask specific questions.

2. Don't accept a generic answer that doesn't give you the info you asked for.

3. Ask for clear viewable pictures so you can see what is for sale.

4. Buy quality and get years of dependable fun and mileage from your minibike. After all thats what made Rupp so superior to other brands...quality!

5. Ask youself..."Is that seller a guy who will be here for me when I need advise/help or will he run off on some other venue and leave me out in the cold if I need assistance?"

6. Ask yourself or ask the seller....What background do you have? What events do you attend?  Do you have pictures of your restorations? Have you ever restored a bike? or best yet..Have you ever worked on a minibike? Have you sold on ebay in the past with other seller's name(s)? If so..Why did you change your seller's account? and If so...How many seller's accounts have you had on ebay in the past?

7. Ask country of origin.....this will give you a good idea as to why the item is priced as it is. A 3rd world country is just that for a reason and they are NOT known for quality!

Happy ebaying!

Remember just because it says RUPP in the auction title, it doesn't mean it is a true Rupp part or part that will fit a Rupp. Many auctions are placed daily that are NOT Rupp items or items that will fit Rupp. So make sure to ask questions.
