Please don't be scared by fancy monikers. For those of you who are not taking advantage of RSS feeds yet, they are easy to use, fun and useful (really). RSS is simply a way to keep track of whatever you like, whenever something new is added (that's why it's called "news").
By taking advantage of the RSS feed, you will be able to know when there is a new item listed for sale in an Ebay store and (this is important)
when there is NOT something new. In other words, let's say for example that the store owner temporarily goes away and doesn't list anything for sale on Ebay for a length of time, you'll be aware of that because your RSS reader won't show anything new. That will enable you to avoid having to go to the Ebay store repeatedly to check and see if there is anything new available in the store.
For the particular Ebay store that you would like to keep track of this way, go to web address of the store and you will see, at the bottom of the page, an orange RSS button (providing the store has an RSS feed available). Right-click on the button to copy the link address.
1) Visit my.yahoo.com and register for a “My Yahoo” page.
2) Once you’ve done that, at the bottom of your "My Yahoo" page you'll see a blue button with a + sign and the words "Ad Content", click that
2) You’ll go to a page with the option to "Add RSS by URL", click on that
3) On that page, paste in the link you copied from the Ebay store of your choice, and click the button which says "Add"
Visit your “My Yahoo” page and and now you are all set to be notified when that particular store adds something new for sale on Ebay
