Some of you may or may not be aware that there is a recall out on Harley Davidson BMX 16" Bicycles which were sold exclusively by Toys R Us.  The front fork on approximately 25,000 of these bicycles has been found to be defective, coming apart while in use and causing injury.

Should you own, know of someone who owns one of these bicycles, or even see one listed for sale, before you panic, check the Serial Number, which is found on the underside of the bicycle, above the pedal. Check the internet for Harley Davidson Bicycle Recalls.  There you will find a list of all the Serial Numbers of the bicycles that are being recalled.  If the Serial Number is not listed, then there is no problem.

If the Serial Number is listed, then there are instructions on how to proceed with turning the bicycle in and obtaining credit.
