This is a great MP3 player.  I don't know why it isn't listed under 'Reviews', so I'm putting it under 'Reviews & Guides' so it's on here SOMEWHERE if anyone goes looking for info on it.  There seems to be tons of info on the 5GB model w/ the color screen, but everyone ignores the 4GB model, which works great for those who don't want an mp3 player to watch video on a tiny screen.

I bought my mp3 player so I don't have to carry a CD player when I walk, not to watch videos on, this player lets you use Windows Media Player, MusicMatch, etc. to load your music onto it.  I knew nothing about mp3 players and it was simple to use.  My 8 year old figured out how to work it right away!  You can search by Artist, Title, Year, Album, Genre, and more, you can make Playlists, etc.

The round circle spins around continuously and is rubberized, as are all the controls, and it has a 'joystick' in the center that you either move L,R,U,D, or push down to click, or you can use the circle on menus to move up and down in menus.  It also works as the volume control.  There are several different sound settings you can use for your preference, such as Rock, Jazz, Flat, Bass, Eq (set your own Equilizer),etc.

The RD2762 comes in a beautiful ruby red, is as thin as an iPod, but WAY smaller and WAY cheaper!  It comes with a driver disk with info for driver upgrades on the RCA.com website if needed, earbuds, usb cord, ac adapter, and a carrying case that's not too hot...it's light gray and you'd have to put it on a belt cuz it has a loop on the back for a belt to go thru...yuck...and the player just slides down into it...that's my only major complaint about it--no good holders for it.

Other than that, the sound is great, the battery life is WAY more than the paltry 8 hours that RCA says it has...it's more like 15 hours!  I've so far only loaded 27 entire cd's onto mine and it's only used 24% of the drive!  That's a LOT of music!!!  So if you think you HAVE to have a 30GB iPod to store all your music....YOU DON'T!!

This 4GB player will have more space than I'll ever need for a LONG time!
