Queen on American Idol - 4.12.2006 Update

Tonight - American Idol said goodbye to Bucky Covington. I believe he got a raw deal as Ace Young should really be leaving the show at this point. As expected, Chris Daughtry, Katharine McPhee, Kellie Pickler and Taylor Hicks passed with flying colors... Unfortunately - and this is a big bummer - Queen (with Bad Company's lead singer) did NOT perform! This breaks the tradition of the past several Wednesday... a bummer considering that Queen and Bad Company are two of the great rock bands ever! With that in mind - and keeping the Queen American Idol theme alive... here are the American Idol performances and some Must Own Queen & Bad Company memorabilia:

Bad Company: Merchants of Cool

British hard rock band Bad Company are the epitome of straightforward 1970's power rock. With a lineup that included former members of Mott the Hoople and Free, the band were a British rock supergroup.
