Make no mistake, this is a great reel!  I have researched this reel extensively and tried it at the local sporting good stores.  I bid for and won it on Ebay.  Now that I've had a chance to put it through its paces, I felt obliged to let anyone else know about this reel.  If you are considering purchasing this reel,  it is fast, fast, fast!  One turn on the crank and you've just wound in a mile of line.  If you outfit your reel with any of the new braided line; Suffix, Cortland, etc, which these reels are meant for, you will cast farther than you've ever casted before.  This kind of  line just flys through the guides. When paired up on the new Quantum baitcasting reels, you've got a fish slaying system that will make you feel like a tournament pro angler.  There is no need to take up the slack, due to line stretch,  before setting the hook.  Just cast it out, fish hits, slam hook home and reel her in!  It's that simple.   No need to lean in and take up the slack.  No need to reel in any line before hook set.  Just set the hook!  Period!  I am sold!  You will be too!
