I am a powerseller who also buys on ebay. I have been to the Masters Golf Tournament the last 4 years. We only go on the practice round days because you can take photos of all your favorite golfers!

I have purchased my tickets this year and the last 2 years on ebay.  Here are some tips for purchasing practice round tickets to THE MASTERS:

1. Beware of ticket brokers selling 1/2 day tickets. These are a ripoff!  They get your credit card to make sure you return with their tickets at noontime so they can give those same "day passes" to another buyer. They are ripping people off by asking way too much for their tickets. THERE ARE NO SUCH THINGS AS 1/2 DAY PASSES! Anything that THE MASTERS organization sells is a day pass only PERIOD.

2. Always look at who you are buying from. Is it an established seller? Do they have good feedback? Do they have lots of feedback? Make sure you read their feedback carefully. Is it from buyers? is it from sellers?

3. Practice round tickets do not get mailed out to any ticketholder until early March. If someone is telling you they have the tickets in hand now, BEWARE. These are all mailed out in early march.

Practice round tickets are pulled from a lottery. Each person that is lucky enough to win the lottery, receives a letter from The Masters in September (of the prior year). They had to pay for those tickets by early November I believe so they should be able to provide you a copy of their "accepted" letter from The Masters organization PLUS provide you a copy of their cashed check.  IF A SELLER REFUSES TO SEND A COPY OF THIS INFORMATION TO YOU VIA EMAIL OR FAIL TO PROVIDE A COPY IN THEIR LISTING, BEWARE!

IN CLOSING...Unfortunately those of us who love this venue, must pay the price! Not everyone can get this opportunity to see the world's best golfers. But I will tell you..it is worth any amount of money to visit the most beautiful golf course in the United States!
