Expecting a new baby, my husband and I were quick to rush out and buy the cutest new outfits that were on sale. However, we made a BIG mistake.....not checking the store's return policy. Unfortunately, our new baby was admitted to the hospital for over 6 weeks when he was only 4 weeks old. Once we came home, we found that he had outgrown a lot of the items we bought him. The great deals we thought we received by catching items on sale before he was born turned into Great Deals for Ebay members, as most of the store's return policies had 60 or 90 day return policy even for exchanges. Fortunately for us, we have been able to recoup some of our losses by posting the items on Ebay.

It was loads of fun shopping for our new baby, but we have taken a big hit, as we have clothes hanging in his closet with tags that he has outgrown....or will outgrow before the weather permits him to wear them. I hope my experience will save you some time and money. Check the store's return policy before buying clothes your baby will be several months growing into. The unforseen can cause it to be a great financial loss for you!
