Purchase and Install a VW Bug & Ghia eBrake Handle...

Remove the Seat to get a better view of the broken handle,

This handle still worked but had a crack along the right side, The pin that held the cable mounting plate was also broken!

The new replacment handle Part Number 113.798.305A. Made in Brazil. The handle doesn't have the cable plate like the original 1967 and newer unit, But it has the older style. Works for me! because that is what broke on the og unit.  NOTE; If your not sure on your different models .... Purchase a complete unit like the one pictured.

New pin and clips!

Installing the new Handle, Make sure the Racket plate is catching on the tunnel chassis.

Line-up the pin hole.

Install the new pin and clips.

******************************************

Install the Tapper Nuts and adjust cables, E-brake be full locked in the mid position. (4-5 clicks).

Note; in the pic that one clable is longer than the other, Shows me that somebody replaced one side of the cables and I should replace the other AsAp. Install the lock JAm nuts and put the boot back on. Throw the seat in and your ready to roll!
