Puma Shoes - The New Puma Shoe Line with Ludacris
Puma is well known for offering athletic apparel that works as well on the field, track, or court as it does on city streets. Their lines of shoes range from the traditional and classic to the sleek and cutting edge, from the casual every-day shoe to the specialty shoe designed for a specific sport.
In 1968, Puma first debuted its famous suede tennis shoe. Today, with the simple lines of the shoe and its soft material in vogue again, Puma is reissuing the classic version of this suede sneaker. The new shoes are available in a wide variety of colors, from dark navy and black to a light powder blue. The shoes typically have a thicker white sole with stitching around the upper edge and a solid color suede fabric with coordinating laces. The Puma stripe is crafted from white leather, with the trademark Puma tag reading "suede" beneath the logo.
To promote the new line, Puma has teamed up with the famed rapper and actor Ludacris. Best known for his chart-topping rap and hip-hop hits like "Yeah!" (2001), "Stand up" (2003), and "Area Codes" (2001), he has released six solo albums since 1999. Two of the albums, Back for the First Time and Word of Mouf, went three times platinum, while Chicken & Beer and The Red Light District went two times platinum. Release Therapy will be out in 2006.
Ludacris has also appeared in the critically acclaimed films Hustle and Flow and Crash. In addition to lending his name to the new line of Puma shoes, he also appears in print advertisements and commercials.
