A special type of pry bar is the slaters bar.  It used to take worn pieces of wood shingle siding off of the side of a house or whatever.  It slides up under the shingle and hooks the nail that holds it in.  Once the nail is hooked the bottom of the bar can be hammered until the nail is pulled out.  I cannot find one!!!!!!!????????   Alan
