I purchased a used Hilason that was only ridden twice The saddle was in good condition when it arrived.  The first time I rode the saddle something felt funny so I contacted Hilason co. for some info so I could figure out why. No results.  So I continued to ride the saddle I finely figured out why.   The stirrup leathers where set to far back.  The stirrup leathers where set behind the latigo,  Makeing it fill like your legs where back behind you.  I had to take the saddle to multi saddle makers before I could find one to move the stirrup leathers forward.  I also found out you have to special order a treeless saddle with the stirrups forward which cost quit a bit more.
