PROBLEMS WITH OVERSEAS PURCHASES

I JUST DISCOVERED THIS FORMAT.

Great way to let others know about the problems you have encountered. I had a problem that has made me So sour that I will NOT bid on anything that comes from overseas (UK). I went beyond the bidding process & just bought the item for what ever their asking price was. It was a metal Beware of Dog sign that you could slightly customize. I paypal'd the item immediately & was told that it could take like 6 weeks to get the item because it has to go thru customs after it was made. Well time goes by I ask where it is I'm told to give it a few more weeks maybe it is being held up in customs because of its size. well when that time goes by they send me there receipt & tracking # from their post office, well turns out that it is not a tracking # that is good in the U.S. So I told her that the sign was never received & never would be because I couldn't be tracked by their #'s. To please replace the sign at which she told me to pay for it. Well I contacted E-Bay & Paypal to get my money back to which I was informed TOO much time had gone by. So she got my money & I got nothing!! So unless they ship Fedex I will NEVER bid on something from the UK ever again!!! Please just be cautious because e-bay & paypal only give you 30days & if it takes 6weeks to go thru customs ...TOO bad!!!!!!!!!
