Many of my auctions are listed as "private" in order to conceal the identity of the bidders.  Some potential bidders have contacted me to ask why I list my auctions as private, with some people even speculating unquestionable bidding.  STOP THE MADNESS!

The reason I list my auctions as 'private' is to protect the identity of the bidders - plain and simple.  In the past I have had people contact my bidders with similar products, or with claims offering to provide a second chance offer (which was a scam).

I'm glad to announce that Ebay now protects the identity of bidders by scrambling their identity (for example:  a****6).  With this in mind, I will be changing my auctions from private to public!
