I regret having purchased a BébéPOD. We bought ours when our boy was barely 5 months old and 50th percentile for weight. He would arch his back, the base would buckle and dump him over backwards. I was not expecting this to be a Neglect-O-Matic 5000, but sitting him in this required a lot more intervention on our part than sitting him up on the floor itself. The packaging said it was for children up to 1 year - I didn't see a weight limit.

I would not recommend using this product as a portable high chair. I simply don't think it's safe. For something like that, I recommend the Healthy Care Booster Seat.

I wish we'd bought a Bumbo.
